These terms and conditions outline the position of both parties in the event that something should go amiss. Please read them to ensure your complete satisfaction with our service.

The following terms and conditions outline the agreement entered into by yourself (referred to as ‘you’, ‘yourself’) and us (referred to as ‘Mary Gray Confections Limited’, ‘us’, ‘our’). These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between yourself and us and supersede all prior representations, agreements,
statements and understandings, whether verbal or in writing, relating to this website or the Service.


On receipt of your payment, we will dispatch your order within 4 working days. We will notify you if, for some reason, we are unable to supply due to the unavailability of the product or some other reason. We will not be held responsible for any delay or damage incurred after dispatch. On arrival, please check the package and notify us immediately if damaged so we can initiate a claim process with the carrier. Within New Zealand, all products will be sent by courier to a physical delivery address only (not a PO box).

Credit card payment – currency conversion

All prices for products and services listed on this website are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). We have provided a currency converter in the section for your convenience. The currency converter provides an indicative conversion based on the current exchange rate. It does not provide an exact conversion into your currency nor does it predict the exact amount that will be charged. If you pay by credit card, you will be charged according to the exchange rate at the time the transaction takes place.

Cheque payment

If you pay by cheque, you will be required to settle your account in New Zealand dollars. Cheques must be written in English and made payable to “Mary Confections Limited”. Cheques sent from locations outside New Zealand must be a bank cheque or money order for the full amount, including shipping, in New Zealand dollars.

Customs duties and taxes

If you are an International Customer purchasing from outside New Zealand, taxes and customs clearance costs at the country of destination are your responsibility.

Warranties and return policy

All of our products come with a warranty on workmanship and materials. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, please return it to us with a brief note of explanation. We will replace or exchange the item or issue a refund. The goods must be in original condition and returned to us at your cost within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please note, shipment costs are non-refundable.


We have taken care to ensure that the content of this website is accurate and current. However, we accept no responsibility in cases where a genuine error has taken place either in the description of a product, its price or information relating to any other service that we provide. We reserve the right to refuse to sell you a product if there is a dispute relating to the attributes or price of a product.

If you purchase products from the site we will collect and retain personal information including your name, telephone number, and address. We will not disclose this information to any individual or company other than those who require the information to process your order. You have the right under the Privacy Act 1993 to access any personal information held about you and to correct or delete such information.
